My daughter Marieke found out that other samples of this font could be found on plaques on both sides of the railway tunnel in Hilversum. I used those letters to recreate the font.
The work took a couple of weeks, but I get the impression that the font is now almost ready. Here is a sample of the font:

Geen publieke comment maar ik weet even niet hoe ik je anders kan mailen.
Ik was aan het zoeken hoe het Dudok lettertype in ons office pakket tot stand is gekomen. Hierbij kwam ik ook jouw blog tegen van een aantal jaren geleden.
Volgens mij heb jij het font gedigitaliseerd klopt dat?
Momenteel is het lettertype Dudok onderwerp van discussie of we dat dagelijks meer willen gebruiken in het Raadhuis. Hierbij is een document uit 1931 opgedoken waar het lettertype iets afwijkt vd digitale versie. Mn de B is door Dudok anders ontworpen (wijkt ook af van de font style vind ik).
